Childress, however, the date and location of his birth is unknown. James died in Morgan County, Georgia in 1815. His wife Elizabeth and his brother Thomas Childress administrated his estate.
James was married to Elizabeth Davis. The date and location of her birth and death is unknown. It is also not known when and where they were married. They had the following children:
