The hotel is fairly new with Cloud 9 bedding, granite baths, flat screen TV, and is a perfect location for our group. It is an easy walk to the East Tennessee Historical Society where members will be doing research. A variety of restaurants, historical buildings, gardens and the Old Market Square are close by.

A visit to the Mt. Harmony Cemetery is scheduled for a laying of wreaths at Revolutionary War Soldier John Childress' grave and at the marker memorializing P.C. Childress and his 3 sons, who were killed in the Fraterville mine explosion at Coal Creek, TN (now Lake City) in 1902. This is going to be a wonderful meeting and what better place to be than Knoxville, foothill of the Smokies, in October!!! See you all there!!!
